Joy Litaba moved to North Texas 16 years ago with her family from their home in Kenya. As a recent nursing graduate, Joy works in the ICU at Plano Presbyterian Hospital. She is planning to earn her Critical Care certificate soon, and she is also considering attending school for her Master's Degree in Nurse Psychology. Please pray for her as she seeks direction regarding this big decision and considers which avenue would help more people! Joy's servant heart is seen even as she evaluates her future plans! But this wasn't always the case. Several years ago, Joy was carrying lots of stress and living with her guard up, only trusting herself. Within the last two to three years she has reignited her walk with Christ. Joining a small group at Freedom two years ago helped Joy build encouraging and strong relationships. Now she volunteers in the nursery here, caring and loving on our infants. What a blessing she is to our babies and their families!!! If Joy has free time, she loves to spend time with her dog, Hershey. When asked who Joy knows that radiates beauty, she quickly answered her sister Daisy – a loving and caring person, sister and mother.
