The Freedom Seniors ministry caters to the needs of the age 55 plus community. Understanding that the level of involvement is a personal choice, Freedom Seniors seeks to provide activities that meet the needs of all seniors that pass through our doors. We offer a weekly bible study, casual fellowship and activities to involve both working and retired seniors.

Adult Bible Study: Freedom Seniors provides a traditional bible study which includes time for traditional hymns and prayer requests. All ages are welcomed.
Location/Time: Sundays at 10:20am in Room 200 (first room as you go upstairs in main building, or take a right as you exit the elevator on the 2nd floor).

Senior Game Day & Pot Luck: Each month the Freedom Seniors get together for a time of fellowship with a pot luck luncheon followed by games. This informal setting allows our seniors to bond as a group and enjoy the company of their fellow seniors.
Location/Time: Each month on a Thursday at 11:30 am in the Freedom Coffee Shop.

Monthly Outings: The Freedom Seniors are an active group that enjoys monthly outings to restaurants or local areas of interest.
Luncheons will be coordinated with a DFW restaurant generally on the 4th Saturday to include our working seniors. Examples of restaurants are Hutchins BBQ, Babes Chicken, La Hacienda and Cotton Patch to name a few.
Activities will vary in date and location based on the venue. Examples of outings may include arboretums, concerts, museums or exhibits.

Annual Trip: Each year, the Freedom Seniors will generally take an extended trip. For 2022, the seniors will take a Motor Coach trip in April to visit the Ark Experience in Ohio.
Location/Time: Varies depending on travel availability.
