Our Worship Music lends towards the contemporary sound with full band and praise team singers. Our team appreciates the depths of hymns, and try to work them in consistently.

What We Believe

The Bible is the bottom line (2 Timothy 3:15-17; 1 Thes. 2:13; 2 Peter 1:21)

God is God–revealed in three persons…Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Deut. 6:4; Isa 43:10-11; Matt 28:19)

Jesus is God’s son, firstborn and only born (Matt 1:23; Heb 7:26; 1 Peter 2:22; Acts 10:38)

Man messed up and fell in sin (Gen 1:26, 27; 2:17; 3:6; Rom 5:12-19)

Although we don’t deserve it we can be saved (Luke 24:47; John 3:3; Rom 10:13-15; Eph 2:8; 4:24)

Water baptism and Holy Communion make God smile (Matt 28:19; Mark 16:16; 2 Pet 1:4)

The Holy Spirit can change and empower your life (Luke 24:49; Acts 1:4-8; 1 Cor 12:1-31; John 7:37-39; Acts 2:42, 43)

You are empowered by the spirit when you receive a spirit language (Acts 2:4; 10-44-46; 19:6; 1 Cor 12:4-10, 28)

We ought to live right, act right and become more like Jesus (Rom 12:1, 2; 1 Thes 5:23; Heb 12:4; 13:12; 1 Pet 1:5,15-16)

The church’s job is to help people find God (Mat 28:19-20; Acts 1:8; Eph 3:10; John 4:23, 24; 1 Cor 12:28; 14:12)

God calls some into full-time ministry (Mark 16:15-20; John 4:23-24; Eph 4:11-16)

God can still heal (Isa 53:4, 5; Mat 8:16, 17; James 5:14-16)

Jesus is coming again (Rom 8:23; 1 Cor 15:51-52; 1 Thes 4:13-18; Titus 2:13)

We will reign on the earth with Jesus (Rev 19:11-14; Zech 14:5; Math 24:27-30; Rev 20:1-6; Rom11:26, 27; Isa 11:6-9)

There will be a judgment day (Mat 25:46; Mark 9:43-48; Rev 19:20; 21:7,8)

Heaven is real (2 Peter 3:13; Rev 21-22)

Pastoral Selection Process

Monthly Update

Date: July, 19th, 2026
Given by: Mathew Thomas (Director)

Today I’m bringing a very exciting update on the pastoral selection process. As mentioned in previous updates, there are 7 phases to the process.

Last month we informed you that we were moving into Phase 5 & 6 of the process which consisted of conducting in-person interviews and meetings. Today, I’m very excited to announce that we have officially moved into the final phase of our journey...we have a final candidate who will be coming to preach on Sunday, August 2nd.

In accordance with our bylaws, our pastoral search subcommittee reached unanimous consensus on this final candidate and our Pastoral Advisory Council agreed with the consensus and formally recommended this final candidate. Our Deacons and Directors then met and voted unanimously to extend an invitation to our final candidate to come the weekend of August 2nd.

Here are some important next steps and dates in the process (SLIDE ON SCREEN):

  • ●  Friday, July 31 - There will be a come-and-go meet & greet 6-8pm at the church

  • ●  Saturday, Aug 1 - There will be a Town Hall meeting to hear from our final

candidate (in the main worship auditorium) from 10am-12pm

  • ●  Sunday, Aug. 2 - The candidate will preach in all 3 services

In accordance with our bylaws, around 5pm that Sunday, our Deacons and Directors will convene once again to formally vote on whether to extend an offer to this candidate to become our next lead pastor.

  • ●  Very important that you come and meet them Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and share your thoughts and feedback with any Deacon, Director, or Elder (we'll provide photo directory via QR code and have some printed in the foyer)

  • ●  Please start submitting questions for the town hall: ○ leadership@findfreedom.church

○ Drop off box in the lobby

Let’s continue to pray for unity and God’s hand upon Freedom Church and upon our future pastor and his family. The best is yet to come!
