Build God's House

How can we take the necessary measures to make the foundations to build God's house?

No man is greater than his prayer life. The pastor who is not praying is playing; the people who are not praying are straying. We have many organizers, but few agonizers; many players and payers, few pray-ers; many singers, few clingers; lots of pastors, few wrestlers; many fears, few tears; much fashion, little passion; many interferers, few intercessors; many writers, but few fighters. Failing here, we fail everywhere. -- Leonard Ravenhill

The Meaning of Your Life | Part 1: Living The Life You Were Meant to Live

We pray that you all had a wonderful Christmas break! And we wanted start off the new year by answering the question, "How do we find the meaning of our lives, the meaning of everything, and even the meaning of anything?" From what we can see from this past year, we know that life has a rhythm. On some days everything goes right, but on others, everything goes wrong. And so with these events of chaos and order, how does this define our meaning in life?

Christmas Dreams | Part 3: Messed Up Christmas

Has God ever changed your plans? Have your plans ever drastically changed and did not turn out the way you wanted. When we make plans, the Lord’s purpose prevails. But this is not to say we should not learn to make plans or set goals for yourself. So, what must we do when God changes our plan?

Listen as Pastor Kendall Bridges uses three things that we learn from the Christmas Story to know how we can acclimate to God’s plan.

Christmas Dreams | Part 2: The Name Above All Names

So much revolves around the name of Jesus during the Christmas season. Names have a meaning. God gave himself a name that would describe who He is and what He does.

Isaiah 9:6 (NKJV) – “For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”

One Day with Jesus: Selfish vs. Selfless

What would a day with Jesus look like? So many Americans are so intrigued to spend one day with their favorite athlete, or movie star, or even a historical figure. However, there is only one differentiating factor between spending a day with your desired celebrity and spending a day with Jesus, and it is the difference between being selfish and selfless.

Those we look up to, or even those we admire, are the kinds of people we want to become or act similarly to. And when we choose to spend a day with our favorite celebrity, we expect to get something out of it. Something that would make us appear more like them. But what would a day with Jesus look like for you? Would you want to take out something from the conversation and try to emulate it? If so, how would you change in order to become more like Jesus?

Christmas Dreams | Part 1: What is God’s Dream for Christmas?

You might have noticed that Christmas is not always going to be the most calm and perfect time of the year. In fact, Christmas was tough for Mary, Joseph, and Jesus. And if was tough for them, it will most certainly be tough for you.

And so, what is God’s Dream for Christmas? If Christmas is tough to deal with, then what should we do to counteract the struggles of this holiday season? Why is it so important to take the time to acknowledge Jesus and his hardships?

II Corinthians 5:18 (NKJV) – ‘Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation…’

Are You an Influencer? | Part 4: Influence with Peace

How many of you feel like an influencer? The fact is that you ARE an influencer! You are a child a God. We have been transformed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Judges 6:23-24 (NKJV) – Then the Lord said to him, “Peace be with you; do not fear, you shall not die.” So Gideon built an alter there to the Lord, and called it The-Lord-Is-Peace. To this day it is still in Ophrah of the Abiezrites.

We must influence with peace. So, listen to Pastor Kendall Bridges as he shares three actions you can take so that you can become more aware of the fact that you have the indispensability to influence with peace.

Are You an Influencer? | Part 3: Influence with Grace

A lot of us wonder, “What is the secret ingredient that can make any situation better?”. Or “What is the secret ingredient that can heal most relationships?”. Well, the answer to those questions, is grace. But how can we influence with grace?

As Pastor Kendall Bridges shares the word during this holiday season, listen, and pay attention to how you can be an influencer with grace.

Are You An Influencer? | Part 2

Remember growing up with a dream to become something specific? Like wanting to become a firefighter. Or an astronaut. Or maybe even a professional soccer player. Well, the problem is that most people cannot seem to discover their purpose, or the ‘why’ behind their existence on this Earth.

We need to stop trying to look within ourselves and instead look to Jesus. Look up to the one who calls you, His Masterpiece. Let Him be the influence of your life.

10 Keys to Stay Free

Not only do we want people to find freedom, but we also want people to keep their freedom. We often find ourselves in strongholds even in the best of times. The only issue is we seem to underestimate the enemy’s ability to deceive and destroy. It is very important to overcome the enemy, but it is also important to recognize your enemy in all its characteristics.

On this Wednesday night, Pastor Kendall Bridges has given a message about how to maintain the freedom that you have possession of, because the enemy will constantly try to take it away. Listen as he lists 10 keys to stay free.

Risk-taker vs. Caretaker

So, what is the difference between a risk-taker and a caretaker? Some might claim that they are riskier than others, and others might claim that they are more careful than others, but some people might even try to create an equal balance between the two. However, when it comes to following Jesus Christ, Jesus is looking for risk-takers, and this isn’t to exclude those with different personalities, but He wants us to lean in just a little more. Because in order to ultimately succeed, you need to be willing to make risks. And so, let Pastor Kendall Bridges present to you this message regarding a few risk-takers from the Bible! Listen, as he shares how every great accomplishment requires a risk and how those risk takers will be the only ones able to outlast the storm and receive the reward for it. Listen, as he shows you the differences between the benefits to being a risk-taker vs. a caretaker.

Why Pray?

Why Pray? It’s a legitimate question. Why do we pray? Why should we pray?

When it comes to prayer, a lot of people give up when they don’t see the answer. When it comes to prayer, a lot of people quit because they get discouraged. Some people also just believe that God is going to do what God is going to do, so why bother praying? Other people might use prayer as a last resort once they have exhausted every other resource in their possession.

Luke 18:1 (NIV) – Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up

Let Pastor Kendall Bridges share this message with you about why we ought to pray. Let him tell you the main reason why prayer is needed and why it is required. Let him answer the question, why pray?
