Freedom Church is excited to announce our first Drive-Thru prayer and communion starting this Sunday. Drive up to the Freedom carport, remain in your car and you will be served communion elements and prayed for.

No worries... our team will be wearing gloves and sharing pre-portioned, sealed, communion cups.

After that, we encourage you to join us in one of our online services via YouTube and Facebook Live. These are happening at 9, 10:20, and 11:45AM on Sunday and 7PM on Wednesday. Links are at www.findfreedom.church

Need WiFI? Our IT Team has installed wifi easily accessible WiFI in the main lot around the carports. It's available 24/7 for Free! Just join the network called Freedom Church Guests.

This Weekends Services

On Behalf of Pastor Kendall:
Hello Freedom Family!

We’ve received notification from the City of Carrollton prohibiting gatherings of more than 500 people. Due to the layout of our buildings and our service times, we are well within the guidelines of the ordinance.

As followers of Christ, we honor the authority the Lord has placed over us, so we will honor the spirit of the ordinance which was given to, “take very seriously and are made out of an abundance of caution in the interest of our residents’ well-being.” Mayor Falconer.

SERVICES ARE NOT CANCELLED. We will come together to worship the Lord.

We are, however, making the below modifications:
• Greet one another with a smile instead of a handshake.
• Discipleship classes and fellowships are cancelled in order to adhere to the ordinance and still hold main services.
• Please depart the premises as soon as your service is released. This will allow those in the next service to enter and us maintain the requirements of the ordinance.
• If you are not attending in person, watch online! Do not forsake the gathering of the people of God.

Please use wisdom:
Older adults and people who have severe underlying chronic medical conditions like heart or lung disease or diabetes seem to be at higher risk for developing more serious complications from COVID-19 illness. www.cdc.gov
So, if you are in this category, please use wisdom and take necessary steps to stay healthy.

All of us are to practice everyday preventive actions:
• Stay home when you are sick, except to get medical care.
• Cover your coughs and sneezes with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
• Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
• Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
• Clean frequently touched surfaces and objects daily. (Freedom has been using disinfectant on surfaces and air distribution for weeks)

We will continue to monitor the recommendations of leadership and we will continue to respond in the peace and wisdom of the Lord. Let’s walk through this season with our hearts and mind stayed on Jesus Christ above all else.

Encourage one another and encourage those in the world. This is a time for believers to be a light to the world.

Be effective through prayer:
• Ask the Lord to intervene and bring this health crisis to an end to protect people worldwide
• Pray for those families and individuals affected by this virus
• Pray a special covering of protection upon our elderly and those with underlying health conditions
• Pray for wisdom and discernment for our government and healthcare leaders
• Pray for peace and faith to arise in the hearts of Gods children
• Pray for businesses large and small to find creative and compassionate ways to respond to their employees and customers
• Pray that this will result in a spiritual awakening in our nation.

“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7

Stay Free Freedom!

PS – the team in Israel is still coming home on time. We are in constant communication with Pastor Kendall. Continue to keep them covered in prayer.

A Note From Pastor Kendall

Hey Freedom,

In light of the coronavirus, we want to be prepared and for you to be informed.

At Freedom Church, we love and care for our church family! Your well-being and safety matters to us. With that in mind, we encourage you to take precautions to keep yourself and others safe. You can help stop the spread of the virus in the following ways:
• Stay home when you or family members are sick. You can watch services online at www.findfreedom.church
• Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom, before eating and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
• Cover your sneeze or cough with a tissue or your arm.
• Get in the habit of not touching your face so often.
• If you are returning from a high-alert area, we urge you to consider refraining from attending church events, classes and services until the 14-day time-frame has been observed.
• If you or someone you know tests positive for COVID-19, please let us know so we can find a way to help, pray for everyone involved and take any necessary precautions here at Freedom.

In addition, we are taking the following steps on our campus:

1. We sanitize highly touched surfaces such as doors, handles, tables, water fountains, check-in stations, and sinks on a regular basis. If you’d like to be part of the cleaning team, let me know!
2. Our staff and volunteer teams will wash their hands frequently and stay home if they are sick.
3. We have hand sanitizer stations around the campus and encourage their frequent use.
4. We will continue to thoroughly sanitize all children’s toys and play areas. This is a regular practice at our church.

If you have not yet set up online giving, please do so! We will continue ministry and reaching out to those in need if the virus affects those in our community(s). Your giving is important in allowing us to continue uninterrupted ministry. You can give online at FindFreedom.church, Click on GIVNG, then click on GIVE.

If you need assistance setting up online giving, Tracy Edwards and her team will be available at the help desk in the lobby this weekend to help you or you can email her at Tracy.Edwards@FindFreedom.church.

Thank you so much.

Stay Free,

 Kendall Bridges
