God created us in His image. We are mind, body, and spirit. It’s important to keep each element of ourselves healthy and balanced. When one is out of balance, it puts our entire being out of balance. Join Candace Berrier for a 4-week workshop on Sundays at 10:20AM in Room 207. The classes will start Sunday, September 7 through Sunday, September 28.

 

You will cover topics such as:

  • Creating an Atmosphere for Emotional, Spiritual, Mental and Physical well-being.

  • Building Healthy Habits

  • Prioritizing Rest, Recovery and Sleep

Freedom Outreach : Dallas Metro Ministry Outing

Join us on Saturday, Sept. 13th as we help with Dallas Metro, an inner city bus ministry. We will be setting up a revival type church service at an apartment complex in Dallas. This is an outdoor event. 

Church van will be provided. 

We will meet at the church at 8:00am and leave at 8:10am.  

Event starts at 9:00am and ends by 2:00pm.

Freedom Outreach: Clean up for Christ

Hello, Freedom Church Family!

 

We have an exciting opportunity to serve our community and glorify Christ together! On Saturday, Sept. 27th, from 1-2PM, we will gather at Elm Fork Nature Preserve ( 2335 SandyLake Rd. Carrollton, TX 75006) to clean up trash as part of our Cleanup 4 Christ initiative.

 

This is a chance to put our faith into action by making our community more beautiful while wearing our “Cleanup 4 Christ” T-shirts to let people know that we are serving in the name of Jesus. Matthew 5:16 says, “In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” Our hope is that through our service, we reflect Christ’s love and inspire others to know Him.

By taking initiative, we are demonstrating Christ’s love in a tangible way, and who knows—our service might even spark a conversation that leads someone to Christ or to Freedom Church. But even if it doesn’t, we know our goal is to be the hands and feet of Jesus and make a positive impact in our community.

 

Event Details:

When: Saturday, Sept. 27th, from 1-2PM

Where: Elm Fork Nature Preserve ( 2335 Sandy Lake Rd. Carrollton, TX 75006)

What to Bring: A water bottle and a heart ready to serve!

What to Wear: Comfortable tennis shoes that you don’t mind getting dirty

What We Provide: T-shirts, trash bags, gloves, and trash grabbers for everyone participating

We look forward to seeing you there as we Cleanup 4 Christ and show our community what it means to love and serve like Jesus!

 

Note: If you already have a Clean 4 Christ Shirt, please bring and wear it.

Freedom Outreach - MetroCrest Summer Meals

Freedom Outreach Team is partnering with Metrocrest to feed students throughout the summer who are victims of food insecurity.  We have adopted 10 routes throughout the summer on Saturday’s only.  The commitment is approximately one hour- an hour. This is a great opportunity for families or groups of friends to serve together. We would love for groups to adopt a route for the summer in order to build community with the families you serve.  

 

Saturdays Only May 31-July 26

Teams will meet at 9am at Freedom Church

The team lead will meet at the church immediately after picking up the groceries where members of the Freedom Outreach team will gather between 8:50-9:10 to dispense groceries and routes amongst 5 teams. Each team of at least 2-3 people will deliver to two routes consisting of 6-8 families.  All addresses are in North Carrollton area.  Any food left over will have to be returned to Metrocrest at the address above.  Teams must have their own transportation.

Cost: $1,650.00

 Our Honduras 2025 Missions trip team will host a week-long Kids Camp, much like our Vacation Bible School. The team will also visit the local orphanage, participate in food distribution to families and have worship and prayer services with the people of Honduras. You’ll also spend a day experiencing the local market and the beauty of Honduras.

 Spots are held on first-come, first-serve basis.
