Freedom's affiliate congregation, Beth Sar Shalom, will be hosting a showing of the movie, Defiance. This time we will be exploring a holocaust story. As this film is rated R for violence, language, and Holocaust themes, we ask that no young children attend. Following this extraordinary film, Steven Ger, Director of Sojourner Ministries (and Senior Teaching Pastor of Beth Sar Shalom) will lead an informative discussion regarding the film's narrative themes as well as those aspects of Jewish culture touched upon in the movie.
